100th Crusaders cap for Caleb Ralph vs Stormers

The Crusaders have named their team to play the Stormers at 7.10pm local time on Saturday April 29 (5.10am April 30 NZ time) at Newlands Stadium, Cape Town.


Caleb Ralph will move from centre to wing for the game and this will be his 100th appearance for the Crusaders. In total this will bring his Super rugby match total to 109.


As reported earlier in the week Coach Robbie Deans has rested captain Richie McCaw and Reuben Thorne takes over the captaincy.


Daniel Carter and Leon MacDonald are both on the bench for the first time after playing 10 straight games.


Cameron McIntyre makes his first start at first five-eighths. He has previously started twice at second five-eighths. Regular left wing Scott Hamilton makes his first start of the season at fullback.


Lock Ross Filipo has returned to New Zealand with a groin injury. Lock Craig Clarke flew in to replace Filipo is included in the playing 22 for the first time.


Tanerau Latimer is included in the 22 for the second time after making his debut against the Western Force last week.
