The Brumbies have named their team to face the Western Force this weekend with Scott Sio returning to the starting line up.

Sio's return to the No. 1 jersey is the only change to the team that drew with the Reds in Brisbane last weekend.

The change forces Ben Alexander to move across the scrum to tight-head prop and Dan Palmer out of the match-day 22.

Ruaidhri Murphy makes his second appearance from the bench while Leon Power has also been included as a run-on reserve.

It's Power's first appearance for the 2013 season and he comes onto the bench for Jordan Smiler.

"As always with local derbies, we expect Saturday's match to be full of feeling and a tough contest right to the final siren," Head Coach Jake White said.

"Scotty comes into the team for Palmer who has been left out this weekend. Scotty has come along nicely this year and looks at home in the starting line-up.

"The Force have a strong record against us in Canberra, they almost got us here in round one last year and in 2011 they had a big, come from behind win.

"They're a good team who have had some big wins over the last couple of weeks. It takes plenty of guts to overcome the Crusaders and the Reds and we will need to be at the top of our game to get a win on Saturday. "
