The last four Super Rugby matches between the Blues and the Chiefs have all been won by the Chiefs regardless of the venue.

The Blues have played the Chiefs 20 times since April 1996 and the surprisingly both teams have won 10 matches each with no draws.

Both teams have a record of winning 50% of their matches against each other but the Chiefs have a slight advantage in points scored as the average score when the teams meet is Blues 24 Chiefs 26.

This weekend's Super Rugby match will be played in Auckland at Eden Park where 10 of the matches between the teams have been played. Again each team has won the same amount at five victories each.

The average score when the Blues host the Chiefs in Auckland is Blues 26 Chiefs 26.

Over 20 matches there is nothing between the teams right down to the points.

In terms of recent form though there is a big difference between the teams as the Blues are already out of the play offs.

The Chiefs are the current Super Rugby champions and they need just one point in the standings to be crowned New Zealand Super Rugby Conference winners. A losing bonus point or a four try bonus point will be enough for them.

Last week the Blues lost in Bloemfontein to the Cheetahs and the week before when they cam back from the break they lost to the Sharks in Durban.

The Blues have now lost their last five Super Rugby matches and their last victory was on the 11th of May when they beat the Rebels.

The Chiefs lost away from home last week to an in-form Crusaders team but out of their last seven matches that is their only loss.

Overall this year the Chiefs have won 73% of their Super Rugby matches while the Blues have won 40%.

The Bookies have given the Blues a 7 point start for this Match - with an offer of a FREE $150 BET. The Chiefs got stung last weekend and this close to a home final they should be going all out. The Chiefs to win by five.

This Match will be shown on TV in NZ, Aus, SA and in the UK on Sky Sports 1/HD.

Average score: Blues 24 Chiefs 26
