The Stormers plan to lodge a complaint with Super Rugby organisers SANZAR about the provisional 2014 Super Rugby draw.

A provisional list of Super Rugby fixtures have been released to the Stormers for 2014 and revealed a a tour from hell for the Stormers.

Stormers coach Allister Coetzee says that he is not at all happy with the list of Super Rugby fixtures that SANZAR want his team to play.

"Our fixture list was tough and that's one of the lessons we have had to take on board - how to deal with it," Coetzee told TimesLive.

"I've seen a provisional fixture list for next season and on tour we have the Crusaders, Chiefs, Brumbies and Reds, which is crazy. We're definitely going to lodge a complaint about it."

The Stormers went from South African Conference winners in 2012 to finishing in seventh place overall and were the third best South African team in 2013.

Cotezee was not happy with the fixtures that his franchise were given in 2013 as they started this year with away games against the Bulls and Sharks, followed by home games against the Chiefs, Brumbies and Crusaders.

While Coetzee is not happy about the 2014 Super Rugby fixtures it will be next to impossible to get them changed as SANZAR use a very expensive company in Canada to draw up the fixtures and any changes have knock on effects - often across the board.

SANZAR's South African regional tournament director Johan Botes has confirmed that South African teams do have a window to express their concerns but added that it was unlikely that fixtures would be changed as, "if something changes, everything changes".

Note: The confirmed Super Rugby fixtures are usually released sometime in October.
