Southern Kings flyhalf Demetri Catrakilis will miss the second promotion-relegation match against the Lions in Johannesburg on Saturday.
The match will take place at 17:00 on Saturday at Ellis Park in Johannesburg after the Kings requested that the match be moved from it's original time of 15:00. This is the third time the kick off has been moved.
Catrakilis injured his shoulder playing in the first promotion-relegation match held in Port Elizabeth last weekend on Friday.
The former Stormers flyhalf is the Kings top points scorer for this season and Kings Director of Rugby, Alan Solomons saud that Catrakilis would be out for between four to six weeks.
"Demetri has sustained a similar injury to that of Steven Sykes earlier this season, which will see him out for between four and six weeks, which means he will not be up for contention for the second promotion relegation game," Solomons told News24.
Catrakilis was forced from the field in the 57th minute of the first match against the Lions who went on to win the match 19-26.
The Kings took a losing bonus point from the match and will need to beat the Lions if they are to retain their Super Rugby status as a draw will not be enough.
