Bulls coach Frans Ludeke is in a positive mood as the team have completed their first week of training for 2014 and just about an injury free squad to select from.
Bulls players such as Pierre Spies, Arno Botha, Francois Hougaard and Deon Stegmann all participated in full training on Thursday as the Bulls finished their first week of training.
Ludeke was full of praise for his medical team, including team doctor Org Strauss who has helped the players through their recoveries.
On Friday the Bulls traveled to Sun City with their wives and girlfriends so that they can all get to know each other a little better.
Next week they will be back at Loftus where the serious training for the Super Rugby season will start.
"Our first week of training was great," coach Frans Ludeke told Beeld.
"November (pre-season training) was very good and I was satisfied with December."
"Regarding January, it's important to have all the injured guys back."
"Everyone was ready when we arrived here this week and came through the week successfully.
"The focus was on the basics and to get the details right, even though you make a few tweaks during pre-season."
"There is a very good balance between seniors and players who came through the system."
The Bulls can be expected to look a little different when they take the field in the new season as they will be without regular players such as Morne Steyn, Zane Kirchner, Chiliboy Ralepelle and Dewald Potgieter who have all moved on.
New signings for 2014 include Piet van Zyl (scrumhalf) and Ryan Nell (fullback).
