Former Super Rugby champions the Bulls will start the 2014 Super Rugby season with just one warm up match under their belts.
The Bulls have scheduled a warm up match against the Stormers in Polokwane on February 1st and are happy that this will be their only warm up match.
The second stringers will play the Lions in a curtain-raiser match so the whole squad will have some game time before the new season.
Bulls coach Frans Ludeke said that he believes this will be best for the Bulls as their training sessions will be "game-focused" so that they can be ready for the start of the season.
"We prefer it that way," Ludeke told SuperSport.
"We would rather have enough time to prepare for the season and this has worked for us in the past."
The Bulls will therefore have the shortest pre-season campaign for all 15 Super Rugby teams this season.
