Double Super Rugby winning Chiefs winger Asaeli Tikoirotuma has agreed to leave New Zealand and join former Premiership champions Harlequins at the end of the Super Rugby season.
According to Sunday News in New Zealand Tikoirotuma has agreed a two year deal with the English Premiership Rugby club.
The Harlequins club has been home to former All Blacks, Highlanders and Blues first-five Nick Evans since 2008.
The twenty-seven-year-old Tikoirotuma is understood to be on a deal that will see him earning in the region of NZ $450 000 a year.
Fijian international Tikoirotuma is married and wants to support his three children to the best of his ability.
Tikoirotuma has played his way up through the ranks starting as a Heartland Championship player with Wanganui for five years and then moving to ITM Cup side Manawatu in 2010.
Chiefs coach Dave Rennie was Manawatu coach at the time and brought Tikoirotuma to the Chiefs when he started coaching the franchise in 2012.
