All Blacks and Crusaders centre Ryan Crotty says that he can't wait for the 2014 Super Rugby season to get underway.
While many of the All Black players spent the summer relaxing Ryan Crotty got back to work earlier than most.
The Crusaders centre returned for pre-season training three weeks ago while many of his All Black team-mates arrived back last week.
Crotty said that he was more than happy to return to training earlier than expected.
"Felt like I had a pretty good break, let my hair down a bit," said Crotty.
"I'm pretty keen to get back with the team and rip back into it" he told NewstalkZB.
The Crusaders play their first Super Rugby warm up match against the Highlanders on February the 7th.
Their first Super Rugby match is on the 21st of February in Christchurch against double champions the Chiefs.
