Out of the last five matches between the Stormers and the Hurricanes the Cape Town based franchise have won four and lost once.

We are waiting for the kick off. Schalk Burger has withdrawn from the Stormers squad. Burger did not recover sufficiently from the groin strain sustained last weekend. Deon Fourie comes in at 6, Siya Kolisi moves to 7 and Liebenberg comes onto the replacments bench.

0.01: The Hurricanes kick off and we are underway.

1.00: The Stormers have to absorb some early pressure as the Hurricanes press them backwards after the kick off.

2.00: The Hurricanes win their opening line out but the handling lets them down and they knock on (Beauden Barrett).

3.00: The first scrum of the match is won by the Stormers although it's not clean. The Stormers try to clear the ball but it's charged down and goes out.

4.00: The Hurricanes have the Stormers pinned back in their 22. There is an injury break as a player is down injured. It looks like John Schwalger fell awkwardly. He carries on.

5.00: Penalty to the Stormers in their 22 for cleaning out. Aplon takes the kick and finds touch. The Stormers win their line out and drive over the half way line.

6.00: Penalty to the Stormers. Catrakilis will kick for posts.

7.00: Catrakilis takes the kick and nails it. The Stormers lead.

9.00: Stormers pack weight 892kg Hurricanes 891. The Stormers scrum collapses but they get another put in.

11.00: Both sides give the ball some air but then the Hurricanes knock on.

13.00: The Stormers get into the Hurricanes half with a line out but then they knock on. The Hurricanes scrum collapses so they have to reset.

14.00: Penalty from the scrum against Kitshoff to the Hurricanes for collapsing. The Hurricanes kick for touch.

16.00: Penalty again for the Hurricanes. They take it quickly but can't really make much ground and then the Stormers turn the ball over and the Hurricanes fail to release the tackler so they concede a penalty. Aplon kicks for touch.

18.00: The Stormers attack is starting to work. They get into the Hurricanes 22. They drive forward and get to the 5m line after 7 phases.

19.00:  Penalty to the Stormers in front of the posts. Catrakilis takes the kick and nails it.

21.00: The Stormers almost get through after the restart but Deon Fourie loses the ball forward.

23.00: Penalty to the Hurricanes against Cory Jane in the Canes 22. The Stormers kick for touch. The line out is not clean and the Hurricanes snatch the ball and kick it out.

27.00: The Stormers have the ball in the Hurricanes half but is goes dead. The game is paused though as Hadleigh Parkes gets some help from the medics. He carries on.

28.00: The Stormers win their scrum and Kobus van Wyk  races through a gap. The Hurricanes just manage to stop him and the Stormers concede a penalty. Barrett kicks for touch.

30.00: The Hurricanes work  the ball into the Stormers half but as they get to the  22m line they knock on.

33.00: The Hurricanes get the ball in broken play and Cory Jane dabs the ball ahead for Julian Savea who goes in for the ball and scores. TRY! That was set up by Conrad Smith.

34.00: Barrett takes the conversion and nails it. The Hurricanes lead.

35.00: Penalty to the Hurricanes. They kick for touch and get back down in the Stormers 22.

37.00: The Hurricanes put the Stormers under pressure in their 22 and they stretch the defence by going wide fast with a long pass and Cory Jane catches the ball and slides over. TRY!

39.00: Barrett takes the conversion from outwide but stabs it and misses.

40.00: The siren sounds. The ball goes out. It's half time.

The Stormers kick off and the second half is underway.

It looks like Jeffery Toomaga-Allen is on for the Hurricanes. Could be on for Schwalger.

41.00: The Stormers work the ball into the Hurricanes half. They drive the ball forward to the 22m line but Fourie loses it forward.

44.00: The Stormers win a scrum but the Hurricanes come up so quickly the Stormers get pushed back about 25m. The Hurricanes then concede a penalty.

46.00: The Hurricanes are winning the line out battle in this. They steal another one from the Stormers and then kick. The Stormers run it back but then they knock on.

47.00: The Hurricanes win their scrum and run the ball. The Stormers stop them on the half way line and then turn the ball over and attack themselves.

48.00: Penalty for offside to the Stormers. It's in front of the posts. Catrakilis will kick. He does and nails it.

50.00: The Hurricanes enjoy some quick ball in the Stormers 22. They go through the phases at pace but then Jane passes to no-one and the ball goes forward. Knock on.

53.00: The Hurricanes continue to attack in the Stormers half. The Stormers defence wins then the put in when the ball goes dead.

55.00: The Hurricanes win a line out on the Stormers throw. They work the ball down into the Stormers end the Stormers have to dot the ball down. 22 drop out and then the Hurricanes knock on.

58.00: Taute fields a Hurricanes kick and has to run it back but is caught and then as the Stormers try to clear the ball they concede a penalty.

59.00: Beauden Barrett takes the penalty kick and slots it. That's his first penalty this match.

62.00: The Stormers string together 11 phases on attack. They get into the Hurricanes 22 but then get pushed back. On the 13th phase the Stormers win a penalty. Playing the ball on the ground.

63.00: Catrakilis takes the penalty kick and nails it.

65.00: It looks like Ardie Savea is coming on for the Hurricanes. The Canes have the ball on attack in the Stormers 22. They go through the phases but the Stormers hold them out. The ball goes dead and the Canes get the put in. Savea is on for Levave.

66.00: The Hurricanes get the ball to 5m out. Conrad Smith sells a dummy but is caught. They keep the ball alive and then the whistle goes for offside.

67.00: Barrett takes the penalty kick and nails it.

69.00: The Stormers enjoy some attacking ball in the Hurricanes half but they go through the phases and can't make much ground.

71.00:The Stormers are camped in the Hurricanes 22. The pressure pays off as they win a penalty. Catrakilis kicks for the corner instead of going for posts.

72.00: The Stormers win the line out but then it all goes wrong with the maul as the ball pops out and the Hurricanes clear.

75.00: The Stormers win a penalty for illegal scrumming by the Hurricanes so they kick for touch again.

76.00:The Stormers win the line out and drive the maul over the line. TRY!  Deon Fourie.

77.00: Catrakilis takes the conversion kick and nails it. The Stormers lead.

79.00: The Stormers try to wind the clock down but they concede a penalty. The Hurricanes run it.

80.00: The siren sounds but the Hurricanes continue to attack.

81.00: The Hurricanes go through the phases slowly edging closer to the Stormers tryline.

82.00: 13 phases. 14 phases, the Hurricanes keep going forward. However they knock on. That's it.
