The Waratahs and the Reds both won their season opening Super Rugby matches last week so both will be going into this week's Templeton Cup match on a high

We are waiting for the kick off.

Quade Cooper kicks off and we are underway.

James Horwill takes bug hit from Tatafu Polota Nau and struggles to get back up. It looks like this one is going to be a physical clash.

2.00: Penalty for not releasing to the Waratahs. They kick for touch. The Waratahs win the line out and Beale slips through and passes to Israel Folau and he scores. TRY!

3.00: Bernard Foley takes the conversion but misses from it front.

5.00: The Waratahs steal the ball after a Reds line out but they knock on so the Reds have a scrum.

6.00: The Reds win the scrum and they kick ahead for Lachie Turner to chase. The ball goes out.

8.00: The Reds are enjoying some territory in the Waratahs 22. They win a scrum and get the ball to the 5m line but they lose it and the Waratahs run it over the half way line.

10.00: The Reds try to move the ball down but they pass into fresh air and the ball goes out.

11.00: Adam Ashley-Cooper finds a gap and gets the Waratahs into the Reds 22 but then he concedes a penalty so Quade Cooper kicks for touch.

12.00: At the line out the Reds concede a penalty for coming across the line out and taking out a player. The Waratahs kick for touch.

14.00: Both teams running lots of ball but hitting solild defences. The Waratahs win a penalty but kick for touch.

17.00: Waratahs enjoying more possession now. They are going through the phases inside the Reds half.

18.00: The Waratahs get into the Reds 22 but they run out of numbers at the breakdown and concede a penalty. The Reds kick for touch.

21.00: The Reds get some relief from the Tahs attack as they push the Waratahs back over the half way line. The Reds attack is a little slow though and the Tahs seem able to read where they are going.

24.00: The Reds kick the ball to the Waratahs who run it back up the middle of the field and then Folau gets the ball and races in for his second. That's five tries this season - two matches. TRY!

25.00: Foley slots the conversion.

28.00: The Waratahs move the ball down the line but Robinson fumbles the ball and they get called back for an early tackle. The Waratahs kick for touch.

31.00: The Reds try to attack but the Waratahs turn the ball over. They start their attack but then the Tahs win a penalty. They will kick for touch. The Reds are really struggling to get quick ball which is crucial for their attack.

32.00: The Waratahs win their line out but then the Reds turn it over and attack from their half.

33.00: The Waratahs turn the ball over and attack. Beale slips an inside pass to Peter Betham who takes a gap and runs for the posts and scores. TRY!

34.00: Foley slots the conversion.

36.00: Oh my. The Waratahs look to be in again as they pass a long ball out to Alofa Alofa. The TMO replay shows though that the pass was forward. No try.

37.00: Free kick to the Reds from a scrum. Cooper kicks upfield to relieve some pressure.

38.00: The Reds get the ball down field with a break from Aidan Toua who chips ahead. Folau gets back and taps the ball in the corner into touch preventing a try and is shown a yellow card.

39.00: The Reds kick for touch and try to set up the maul. They get to the line but can't get over so they go wide and this time they are in as the siren sounds. Lachie Turner is open. TRY to Lachie Turner.

40.00: Quade Cooper takes the conversion kick from a way out and misses.

That's it. Half time.

The Waratahs kick off and the second half is underway.

40.10: Ed Quirk knocks on as he takes the kick off so we have a scrum.

41.00: The Waratahs win the scrum but the pass down the line is forward.

43.00: The Reds replace James Slipper and he does not look happy about it. The Reds immediately concede a penalty from the scrum. They kick for touch.

45.00: Will Skelton comes on for Jacques Potgieter (Waratahs). The Waratahs have the ball in the Reds 22. They are still a man down. The Waratahs win a penalty, they take it quickly and Beale bashes over for the BONUS point TRY!

47.00:Bernard Foley takes the conversion kick and nails it.

49.00: Folau comes back on from the sin-bin. Waratahs scored 7 points and the Reds 5 in his absence.

51.00: The Waratahs attack in midfield. The Reds leave their feet so the Waratahs win a penalty. They kick for touch.

53.00: The Reds set up a 5m line out which they win. The Tahs come into the ruck at the side so the Reds get another penalty. Line out again.

54.00: The Reds win the line out and get over the 5m line. However the ball is slow and Benn Robinson grabs the ball and the Waratahs kick for touch.

56.00: The Reds try to attack the Waratahs but the home side swarm around them and Alofa Alofa flattens Chris Feauai-Sautia who has just come on. The Reds don't seem to have any answer and are not playing with a lot of enthusiasm.

58.00: The Waratahs chip ahead and  Dom Shipperley has to chase. Everyone gets excited as Folau also chases but the ball goes out.

59.00: The Waratahs have a 5m line out but James Horwill steals the ball and the Reds clear.

60.00: The Waratahs win the line out and attack again. They go through the phases and then Beale passes to Alofa Alofa who dives over. No try though as there was obstruction. Penalty to the Waratahs as the Reds were offside. They will kick for posts.

61.00: Foley adds the penalty.

62.00: The Reds get a little boost of energy as Ben Tapuai has a break. He is stopped and the Waratahs knock on. The Reds win the scrum and attack just outside the Waratahs 22.

65.00: Penalty to the Reds in the Waratahs half. They run the ball and get to the 5m line. Then another penalty for the Reds. They run it again but the Waratahs turn the ball over and kick it out.

68.00: Folau comes off for the Waratahs.

70.00: The Reds get the ball down in to the Waratahs 22 and have a line out. There is a pause as a player is injured. They can't do anything with though.

71.00: The Waratahs break out again but Adam Ashley-Cooper kicks ahead and the ball goes out.

76.00: The Waratahs win a scrum on the half way line. They run the ball at the Reds but lose the ball. They go back as the Tahs had an advantage.

77.00: Foley will kick for posts with the penalty. He nails it to extend the lead.

79.00:The Waratahs have a scrum and they use it to wind down the clock.

The siren sounds. That's it.
