The Sharks have named their team to play the Reds this weekend with JP Pietersen coming straight into the team with Patrick Lambie.
Pietersen returned from a playing stint in Japan earlier this week but has been named in the starting line up.
Patrick Lambie missed last week's clash against the Lions and was given bed rest but has fully recovered and returns to the starting team.
Lambie's return to fitness means that Frans Steyn moves from number 10 to 12 while Paul Jordaan's injury have given an opportunity to S'bura Sithole
Sithole’s place on the bench has been taken by Jaco van Tonder while Tera Mtembu comes in for Jean Deysel.
The changes are Sharks Director of Rugby Jake White's first changes to the team for the season as he had named unchanged teams in their previous matches.
White said that the Reds will offer the Sharks stiff opposition with their Wallaby contingent that includes the halfback pairing of Will Genia and Quade Cooper.
"There is no doubt that the Reds have a lot of experience, they’ve won the competition and a lot of their current players were in that winning team, so they understand what it takes to win, they travel quite well as a group and the Wallaby captain is leading them," said Jake White.
"Obviously they have the makings of a good team and cannot be taken lightly. They have shown that when they beat the Brumbies and Cheetahs."
