Bulls Super Rugby captain Victor Matfield says that their 15-9 loss to the Western Force was a frustrating way end to a tough tour.
The Bulls finished their tour of Australia and New Zealand without a win which means they have one win from their last five matches.
Matfield went on tour with the Bulls as a coach but injuries in their first match against the Hurricanes led to Matfield joining the players squad.
Injuries and suspensions have also seen Matfield leading the Bulls on a frustrating tour that has produced just four tries for the former champions.
Matfield said that the conditions played a part in the Bulls loss to the Force but their decision making was the bigger problem.
"In these conditions it was very hard to hold onto the ball," he said.
"You have to do your basics right, we gave them territory and from there they got penalties."
"It is all about decision making and we are making wrong decisions at critical times and it is costing us wins."
