Several of the Non-Test playing Reds will return to their respective Queensland Premier Rugby clubs this weekend, to bolster the competition for round 12 and keep players fit for Super Rugby.

Across four matches, 14 of the current Reds squad and a further six players from the Reds Wider Training Squad (WTS) will be in action at club Rugby grounds around Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

"I'm really looking forward to seeing Reds players in action for their Premier Rugby clubs this Saturday," said Queensland Reds coach Richard Graham.

"It is important for the squad to remain match fit and to keep working hard ahead of our Super Rugby match against the Rebels on June 27.

"The Premier Rugby competition is an important part of the fabric of Queensland Rugby and we are continuing to support and develop the competition.

"Many players within the current Reds squad were selected following strong performances in Premier Rugby including recent debutants Jamie-Jerry Taulagi and Samuela Kerevi, who were two of the 2013 competition's best performers.

"Premier Rugby is a crucial element of the Rugby pathway in Queensland and while I'm looking forward to seeing the current Reds in action for their clubs this Saturday, I'm also excited to see new talent emerge from Premier Rugby's ranks.

Graham will head to the Gold Coast on Saturday to watch the match between Bond University and Sunnybank at Robina, whilst Nick Stiles, Steve Meehan and Peter Wilkins will attend the other three Premier Rugby games in Brisbane.

The players returning to Premier Rugby this weekend include:

University of Queensland: James Hanson, Jono Owen, Curtis Browning, Rod Davies, Jamie- Jerry Taulagi, Sef Fa'agase (WTS), Tim Buchanan (WTS)

Sunnybank: Albert Anae, Greg Holmes, Liam Gill, Ben Tapuai

Souths: Beau Robinson

GPS: Nick Frisby, Samuela Kerevi, Chris Kuridrani, Sam Johnson (WTS), Philip Kite (WTS)

Easts: Andrew Ready, Michael Gunn (WTS)
