The Chiefs have signed former Crusaders and Tasman hooker Quentin MacDonald as well as Waikato captain Brad Weber.
Tasman hooker Quentin MacDonald has returned to New Zealand after playing for Munster in Ireland. MacDonald will join the Chiefs for the 2015 Super Rugby Season after this years ITM Cup season.
MacDonald is keen to make his return to Super Rugby.
"It is a fantastic opportunity with an awesome coaching staff and a great player base," said the 25-year old.
Halfback Brad Weber has also signed for the 2015 season.
The 23-year old was originally part of the Chiefs wider training squad this season. He has played seven matches for the Chiefs, having made his debut against the Crusaders in the opening round this year.
"I feel this is the best place for my development. I have come along way in a year and the coaching at the Chiefs is unreal. I enjoy the company of the boys and love the culture here," said Weber.
Chiefs Coach Dave Rennie is happy to have signed another two good men for his club.
"Brad has had a strong debut season and provides a genuine point of difference to our other halfbacks. He's a top man and we're rapt he's on board for 2015."
"Tom, Straws and I have all coached Quentin at national age grade level. His athleticism, his skill set and experience will be invaluable to our squad" said Rennie.
MacDonald has played over 50 matches for the Tasman Makos and represented the New Zealand U20's, the Maori All Blacks and played for the Crusaders and Blues.
Weber is a former New Zealand U20's player and started his ITM Cup career with Otago before moving to Waikato in 2013.
