Waratahs captain Michael Hooper says that he is happy with the effort put in against the Reds in their 3-34 victory in Brisbane.
The victory extended the Waratahs run to seven straight wins which is a franchise record for the Sydney-siders.
The match could have been a banana skin for the Waratahs as they had already secured their place in the play off and were unable to improve on their standing.
Having finished on top of the Super Rugby standings they get the next week off and return for the Semi-finals in two weeks time.
"We're happy with the win, " said Hooper after the match.
"It was good to put a few tries on and keep them tryless," added Hooper.
"It was a tough game. They came out really tough and ripping into us at the start. "
"We had to weather that but I'm happy with the boys' effort."
