The Blues have named their team to take on the Highlanders in Dunedin. The last time the Blues went to Dunedin they won 30-14 and they are now looking for a a hat-trick of victories over the Highlanders after beating them 50-22 in 2004.

In 2003 the Highlanders beat the Blues 22-11 at Carisbrook. That year the Blues won the Super 12.

This week the Blues will be captained by Keven Mealamu and Angus Macdonald is out injured with a hamstring strain. Coach Nucifora is confident that Macdonald will be back for the Reds.

The Blues will have superiorty in the backs so to match the Blues in the backline the Highlanders will need a big match from Nick Evans.

Keep a special eye out for Doug Howlett who has scored 49 tries for the Blues and needs one more try to reach the 50 milestone.
