Blues revamp their midfield

The Blues were forced to rearrange their midfield for the highly anticipated Super 14 match against the ACT Brumbies in Canberra on Saturday.

Centres Isaia Toeava and Sam Tuitupou both failed to recover from injuries suffered in last week’s win over the Crusaders.

The good news for coach David Nucifora is that he has another All Black in Luke McAlister and the red-hot Anthony Tuitavake ready to take over from the injured duo.

The exciting Tuitavake shifts in one spot to outside centre, with Rudi Wulf taking over on the left wing while McAlister comes off the bench to start at inside centre.

Tuitavake was instrumental in setting up two tries for the Blues in their hard-fought opening round 34-25 win over the champion Crusaders.

David Holwell and Ben Atiga take their places on the bench in the only other changes from last week’s team.
