David Holwell has been ruled out of the Hurricanes match against the Waratahs. Jimmy Gopperth will start in his place but this will have an effect on the Hurricane’s place kicking.

Gopperth gets the back line going better than Holwell and he usually comes on for Holwell in the second half when the game either has been won or when the back line needs a pick up.

A home Semi final is at stake and possibly a final and both of these mean big bucks for the home union. The odds say that the home team will win so the Hurricanes will have a lot to do to earn the Home Semi.
