Cheetahs start Benjamin for Petersen against Bulls

Bloemfontein based Super Rugby franchise the Cheetahs have named their team to play the Bulls at home in Bloemfontein brought in Ryno Benjamin for  Sergeal Petersen.

Petersen has been sidelined  due to a knee injury sustained in the match against the Lions last week.

The Cheetahs will be facing the Bulls in their second Super Rugby home game on Saturday 4 March 2017 in Toyota Stadium, Bloemfontein.

In the forwards Ox Nche will be starting as prop, replacing Charles Marais who will be moving to the bench.

Ruan van Rensburg is new on the bench and will be making his Super Rugby debut when he runs onto the field.

“Our focus this week will be to keep ball in hand and to get points on the board when we are in the attacking zone”, said assistant coach, Corniel van Zyl.

“We left a lot of points on the field last week and we will be more clinical this week.   The Bulls also lost last week and we expect them to come here with everything they’ve got.”  Torsten van Jaarsveld, captain.

The referee for the game is Shuhei Kubo. He will be assisted by AJ Jacobs and Louwrens van der Merwe.  The TMO is Marius Jonker.
