The third match on Friday in Super Rugby Round 8 is in Bloemfontein where the Cheetahs host the Sunwolves.

The Cheetahs and Sunwolves have already played this year as they met in Singapore and the Cheetahs edged the Japanese side by one point at 32-31.

In that match the Sunwolves went out to a 28-13 lead by half time but the Cheetahs came back in the second half and outscored their hosts 3-19.

The Cheetahs have replaced Hilton Lobberts for Boom Prinsloo who has been ruled out for the rest of the Super Rugby season.

In other changes Charles Marais moves to the starting line-up replacing Ox Nche on loosehead prop. Maks van Dyk and Johan Coetzee switches places with Van Dyk starting on tighthead prop and Coetzee on the bench.

Captain Francois Venter and Nico Lee will be switching places with Venter at inside centre and Lee at outside centre.

Oupa Mohoje will be making is come-back after an injury, replacing Henco Venter on the replacements bench.

The Sunwolves have made eight changes to the side that lost to the Stormers – four straight changes and four positional changes.

The most notable change is the return of Tusi Pisi at flyhalf as he was rested last week.

In other changes Hitoshi Ono, Andrew Durutalo and Harumichi Tatekawa return to the starting line up.

Faatiga Lemalu who was added to the team this week has been named on the replacements bench.

While the Sunwolves are still waiting for their first Super Rugby victory the Cheetahs have only won one match this season and that was against the Sunwolves.

The Bookies have given the Sunwolves a 16 point start for this Match – with an offer of up to $200 in Bonus bets. It’s logical to think that if the Cheetahs were able to beat the Sunwolves away from home they should be able to beat them at home. The Cheetahs should win this by 8.

This Match will be shown on TV in NZ, Aus, SA and in the UK on Sky Sports 5.
