The second Super Rugby match on Saturday in Round 11 is in Hamilton where the current leaders the Chiefs host the current Champions the Highlanders.

The Highlanders kick off and the match is underway.

1.00: Both teams kicking the ball backwards and forwards testing each other’s defences.

2.00: Damian McKenzie ends the kicking contest by running it. He is stopped and the Chiefs win a penalty (Waisake Naholo not rolling away). Aaron Cruden kicks for touch.

3.00: The Chiefs win the line out and attack in the Highlanders 22. They move the ball across the face of the posts and win a penalty. Cruden will have a shot at the posts.

4.00: Cruden slots the penalty and the Chiefs lead.

5.00: Referee Angus Gardner gets in the way on attack so there will be a scrum.

6.00: The Highlanders take the ball into touch which gives the Chiefs a line out.

7.00: The Chiefs win a line out and then a penalty. They take it quickly with the tap in the 22 but the Chiefs lose the ball as it goes dead and the Highlanders will have the scrum put in.

9.00: The Highlanders win the scrum and kick for touch. The Chiefs win the line out but they concede a penalty for obstruction.

10.00: Lima Sopoaga kicks for touch and the line out.

11.00: The Highlanders win the line out and attack the Chiefs on the Chiefs 22. They go through 6 phases and win another penalty. Sopoaga will have a shot at goal.

12.00: Sopoaga takes the kick and nails it to level the scores.

15.00: The Highlanders win a scrum in their half. They get the ball to Ben Smith who kicks deep. They go through several phases on attack and make almost no ground. McKenzie kicks for territory and just bounces the ball in and then into touch.

16.00: The Highlanders win the line out and run the ball. Sopoaga slices through the Chiefs defence and is caught by the secondary defence. He passes the ball but there is a knock on.

19.00: Damian McKenzie has a sniping run through the Highlanders and Aaron Smith just catches him.

21.00: The Highlanders get the ball from a high kick and they chip it ahead. The ball goes into touch.

23.00: Penalty to the Highlanders from the breakdown – not rolling away. Sopoaga lines up the kick. He nails it. The Highlanders lead. Sopoaga has to leave the field for a HIA.

26.00: Penalty to the Chiefs. Damian McKenzie lines up the kick from just outside the Chiefs half.

28.00: McKenzie’s kick is just away to the left.

30.00: Waisake Naholo breaks down the wing, he is caught and the Highlanders keep the ball alive and Daniel Lienert-Brown sells a dummy and races to the line and scores. TRY! Great speed for a front rower!

31.00: Marty Banks takes the conversion kick and just sneaks it in.

33.00: Lima Sopoaga comes back on and Marty Banks comes off.

34.00: The Chiefs have a scrum in the Highlanders 22. They win the scrum and run the ball. The Highlanders press them back out of the 22 and then Charlie Ngatai knocks on.

36.00: The Highlanders win the scrum and kick deep. McKenzie gets back but the Chiefs get trapped. They try to kick and clear but it gets charged down. The Chiefs recover and they pass the ball down the line and knock on. Chiefs looking a little off their game a bit as the mistakes are building up.

38.00: The Chiefs win the scrum and run the ball wide – but the ball is passed high and goes into touch.

39.00: The Chiefs attack again in centrefield and again they lose the ball. Ben Smith gets the ball and boots it back. As the ball goes back and forth Elliot Dixon is flipped in the air by Charlie Ngatai. The TMO will have to have a look. Dixon jumped into the tackle which lessens the impact. Charlie Ngatai is yellow carded. He walks to Dixon shakes his hand and goes to the bin. The Highlanders kick for touch.

40.00: The siren sounds and there is time for the line out. The Chiefs win the line out. They put it into touch.

The Chiefs kick off and the second half is underway.

42.00: The Chiefs make a good start by running the ball but they knock on.

43.00: The Highlanders win the scrum and run the ball quickly into the Chiefs 22. They have the advantage and play on. Ben Smith almost gets over but is stopped. The Highlanders recycle and go wide to Waisake Naholo who scores in the corner. TRY!

45.00: Sopoaga takes the conversion kick but misses.

48.00: The Highlanders are keeping the pressure on in the Chiefs 22. They keep the ball moving and the Chiefs scramble from side to side. On the sixth phase Ben Smith knocks on.

49.00: Charlie Ngatai comes back on for the Chiefs.

51.00: Charlie Ngatai makes a break for the Chiefs and gets them over the gain line. He is caught but the Chiefs recycle and keep the ball moving. The Chiefs send the ball to wing and Ngatai gets the ball again and offloads to Aaron Cruden who scores. TRY! James Lowe also had a hand in that.

52.00: Cruden just misses the conversion.

57.00:The Chiefs go through the phases as they recycle the ball over and over but the Highlanders defence holds strong.

59.00: The Highlanders keep the pressure on and Malakai Fekitoa has a little break. The Highlanders dab the ball through and everyone chases. The Chiefs dot the ball down which gives the Highlanders a 5m scrum.

61.00: The Highlanders win the scrum. They move the ball from the left to the right and then back. Matt Faddes gets close but the Highlanders keep on attacking. Eventually they go wide again to Naholo who scores in the corner. TRY! Team try!

63.00: Sopoaga misses the conversion.

67.00:Penalty to the Highlanders. They kick for touch.

68.00: The Highlanders win another penalty. The Chiefs lose Maama Vaipulu to the bin for cynical play. Sopoaga slots the penalty.

70.00: Sopoaga goes for the drop goal. He misses. McKenzie tries to run the ball back but the Chiefs concede another penalty at the breakdown. Sopoaga kicks to touch for the line out.

73.00: The Highlanders win a line out and lose the ball. The Chiefs concede a penalty for offside. Sopoaga kicks for touch.

74.00 The Chiefs win a penalty for offside at the line out. The Chiefs kick for touch.

75.00: The Chiefs win a scrum. Ngatai races across the field and is caught. The Highlanders concede a penalty. Cruden kicks for touch.

78.00: The Chiefs work the ball to the Highlanders 5m line. They cant get over but the win a penalty. McKenzie takes it quickly.

79.00: The Chiefs get another penalty and they tap it and pass out to Sam Vaka who scores in the corner. TRY!

80.00: Cruden hits the post with the conversion.

81.00: Waisake Naholo gets an intercept after the kick off and he races for the line – as he goes over he is tackled and goes into touch. No try. Thats it.
