Crusaders sweat on Laulala and Poki for Highlanders

The Crusaders have a number of injury concerns going into their fourth round match against the Highlanders in Dunedin on Saturday.

Centre Casey Laulala (pictured) has a right shoulder injury and is suffering soreness but will have a fitness test during the week as to his availability to play.

Also in the back line wing Kade Poki has a sprained right ankle and is unlikely to be available to play the Highlanders.

In the forwards Lock Brad Thorn and prop Ben Franks both left the field in the match against the Hurricanes with foot injuries and they will both have to be managed throughout the season.

Fullback Leon MacDonald who picked up shoulder injury from the round-one win over Chiefs and halfback Andy Ellis who sprained an ankle in the round-two defeat to the Brumbies will have fitness tests this week.
