Former Samoa coach John Boe and Welsh assistant Scott Johnson are both emerging as the prime candidates to complete Queensland Reds coaching team for next year’s Super 14.

The pair have good credentials and are rumoured to be at the top of a short-list for potential backs coaches to work alongside head coach Jeff Miller and assistant Alex Evans.

The Queensland Rugby Union is still advertising for a backs coach, but Boe and Johnson are favourites as desired replacements.
