The only Super Rugby match this weekend is in Wellington New Zealand where the current Super Rugby champions the Hurricanes host the Chiefs.

The Hurricanes have already played the Chiefs once this season and that match was won 26-18 by the Chiefs in Hamilton.

The Hurricanes have played the Chiefs 29 times in Super rugby and they have won 15 matches and lost 13.

In Wellington the teams have met 13 times and the Hurricanes have won 10 matches. That gives the Hurricanes and record of winning 77% of their home matches against the Chiefs.

This season the Hurricanes have played five matches at home in Wellington and are unbeaten.

The Chiefs and Hurricanes are in a battle for the first wildcard qualifier position as that team will play the team that finishes in fourth place (currently the Brumbies).

Both teams have two matches remaining and the Hurricanes have 53 points while the Chiefs have 49. The Chiefs need to win both of their remaining two regular season to guarantee fifth place while the Hurricanes could secure it with one win.

The Bookies have given the Chiefs a 7 point start for this Match – with an offer of up to $200 in Bonus bets. The Hurricanes have home advantage in Wellington where they have not lost this season. The Hurricanes should win this by 6.
