The second Super Rugby quarter final is in Wellington on Saturday where the Hurricanes host the Sharks.

The weather looks a bit wet and windy which could suit the Sharks a little. The Sharks have played in more play off games than any other team that has not won a Super Rugby title.

Garth April kicks off and the match is underway.

1.00: The Sharks win the ball back after the kick off and go through 8 phases and they win a penalty in front.

2.00: April takes the shot but the wind catches the ball and he misses.

3.00: The Sharks are kicking a lot which is surprising given then swirling wind. After the ball goes back and forward April kicks the ball and it goes straight to the Hurricanes who run it.

4.00: After a couple of phases the Sharks turn the ball over and boot it back downfield. Beauden Barrett puts it into touch.

5.00: The Sharks win the line and use the maul. It gets sacked. The Sharks take a line out instead of a penalty kick.

6.00: Ardie Savea steals the ball after the line out and chips it ahead. He chases but gets to the ball and kicks again – straight into touch.

7.00: Frantic match so far. The Hurricanes run the ball but then take it into touch. The Sharks win the line out and use the maul.

8.00: The maul collapses and the Sharks move the ball out. The Hurricanes turn the ball over and chip it – to the Sharks who start their counter attack but catch the Hurricanes offside. Penalty. April will have a shot.

9.00: April takes the penalty kick but he compensates for the wind and this time the wind does not take it so it goes straight out. Kicks will be a lottery in this one.

10.00: Barrett gets the ball and boots it well downfield into Sharks territory.

12.00: The Hurricanes win a penalty after 5 phases. It’s in front so Barrett will have a shot.

13.00: Barrett takes the penalty kick and he nails it. That’s 900 Super Rugby points for Barrett.

14.00: Scrum penalty to the Hurricanes. Its really getting wet now. Barrett kicks for touch.

16.00: The Hurricanes win the line out and kick wide. The ball is caught by Woodward and the Canes work the ball to the line. They are inittially stopped but then they pass the short ball to Loni Uhila who comes in at pace and crashes over to score. TRY!

18.00: Barrett takes the conversion kick but its well off due to the wind.

20.00: The Sharks win a line out but then knock on – about 10m out from their line.

21.00:The Hurricanes win the line out and Perenara swiftly passes the ball out to James Marshall who goes in low and slides over the line to score. TRY!

22.00: Barrett curls the conversion but still misses.

24.00: The Sharks get the ball and go through 9 phases gradually pressing the Hurricanes back. They get to the line and  Tendai Mtawarira goes over. The TMO will judge if there was a double movement. He used his legs to move forward so it was double movement and the Hurricanes have a penalty.  Tendai Mtawarira is not happy. The Hurricanes kick for touch.

25.00: It’s really wet and swirling wind now but Ardie Savea gets the ball and races for the line. He is just caught and the Hurricanes recycle and kick deep. The Sharks get back have to take it into touch. 5m out.

26.00: The Hurricanes chip the ball ahead but the Sharks dot the ball down. 22 drop. The Sharks take it quickly and JP Pietersen gets to the ball and kick it upfield. He chases and kicks it again but it goes too far.

28.00: The Hurricanes win a penalty on the half way line for offside. Barrett managed to get a boot to the ball and raced away but he was called back for the penalty. Barrett kicks for touch.

30.00: The Hurricanes win the line out and work the ball into the Sharks 22. The Sharks turn the ball over and kick it into touch.

31.00: Hurricanes put the ball in but the Sharks win it due to the wind. They kick deep and the Canes take the ball into touch.

32.00:  The Sharks win the line out but then knock on.

33.00: Andre Esterhuizen has been replaced by Owen Ndungane. The Hurricanes win a scrum and Barrett kicks deep. Le Roux gets to it and boots it back. The Hurricanes kick it back and it goes almost straight into touch.

Note: The Sharks have the wind at their backs in this half.

35.00: Penalty to the Sharks. Despite the wind Mtwarira says they will kick for posts.

36.00: April misses again. 0/3. Esterhuizen comes back on for the Sharks.

37.00: The Sharks receive the ball from the restart and Lwazi Mvovo catches it and puts a foot on the line. The Sharks come away with the ball from the line out but when they get to the other side they knock on.

38.00: The Sharks try to clear the ball on their 5m line but Woodward and Barrett are up quickly and charge it down. The ball goes into touch. The Sharks win a free kick from the line out.

39.00: April kicks for touch with the free kick.

40.00: The siren sounds for half time and the Sharks put the ball into touch.

The Hurricanes kick off and the second half is underway.

The Sharks – now playing into the wind – kick up-field and the ball goes straight into touch.

41.00: The Hurricanes win the line out and run the ball. As they get to the other side they knock on.

42.00:The Hurricanes win the scrum and run the ball. The Sharks turn the ball over and kick it into touch. Canes captain Dane Coles has taken a blow. Possible broken ribs – he looks to be in a world of pain as he comes off.

43.00: Penalty to the Sharks. They kick for touch. The Sharks win the line out and attack on the Canes 22m line. 5 phases.

44.00: Penalty to the Hurricanes for sealing off. Barrett kicks for touch.

45.00: Hurricanes win the line out and boot the ball upfield. The Sharks kick it back.

46.00: The Hurricanes counter attack. Perenara shrugs off a tackle by Michael Claassens – shoving him into touch – and he offloads to Jason Woodward who runs in the TRY!

47.00 : Barrett slots the conversion.

49.00: The Hurricanes cut loose again after a  chip kick from the Sharks Vaea Fifita gets the ball from Loni Uhila after a Perenara break and Fifita powers with pace to the line and scores. TRY!

51.00: Barrett slots the conversion.

52.00: Julian Savea comes on off the bench for Cory Jane. The Sharks go through the phases but gain no ground.

53.00: Curwin Bosch comes on for April.

54.00: The Hurricanes win a penalty from the scrum against Coenie Oosthuizen. Barrett boots the ball into touch.

56.00: The Sharks lose control of the ball in a line out and have to dot the ball down behind their line so the Hurricanes have an attacking 5m scrum.

57.00: The Hurricanes win the scrum. They play on with the advantage but get called back for a penalty. Loni Uhila takes a tap and this opens a hole for Perenara who slips through and scores. TRY!

58.00: Barett slots the conversion.

60.00: The Hurricanes take off Barrett, Perenara and A.Savea. The Sharks bring on a new front row.

62.00: The Hurricanes knock on at the line out so the Sharks have the scrum put in on the half way line.

66.00: The Hurricanes move the ball down the line just inside the Sharks half but they knock on.

68.00: The Sharks kick the ball into touch but the Hurricanes have the put in – inside their 22. The Hurricanes win the line out and form a ruck and then kick it into touch.

72.00: The Hurricanes work the ball up-field to the Sharks half. The ball comes out loose and Sharks kick it behind the half way line.

73.00: The Hurricanes attack but concede a penalty. The Sharks take it quickly and work it to the Canes tryline.  The Hurricanes turn the ball over and kick it into touch.

75.00: The Hurricanes drive the ball into the Sharks half. The Sharks turn the ball over and chip it ahead. The Hurricanes scramble and turn the ball over and Julian Savea breaks out. He is caught and the Canes recycle.

77.00: The game has lost most of it’s shape now. It’s scrappy play from both sides.

78.00; The Hurricanes almost get away for a sixth try but the final pass goes forward.

80.00: The siren sounds but the Hurricanes have a penalty. They tap it and Brad Shields dives over and scores. TRY! Sixth try.

81.00: Woodward takes the conversion kick and
