The second South African Super Rugby derby clash for Round 4 is in Johannesburg where the Lions host the Cheetahs who they have they beaten in their last three matches.

We are waiting for the kick off. The teams are out and on the field.

The Lions kick off and the match is underway.

2.00: The Lions win the ball back after the kick off. They try to attack but the Cheetahs turn the ball over and kick it into touch.

3.00: The Cheetahs win the ball and attack the Lions, they stretch the Lions defence but the final pass goes forward so no try for Paul Schoeman.

6.00: The Lions get through the Cheetahs defence. The Cheetahs scramble and stop the attack as the Lions lose the ball.

9.00: The Cheetahs work the ball into the Lions 22. They go through the phases on attack and win a penalty. They will kick for posts.

11.00: Niel Marais slots the kick and the Cheetahs lead.

13.00: Penalty to the Cheetahs. They kick for touch.

16.00: The Cheetahs try to attack but Raymond Rhule loses the ball forward.

19.00: The Lions win the scrum and they attack. Elton Jantjies dives for the line and scores. Replays raise some doubt over whether he has actually scored but Stuart Berry has awarded the Lions the try anyway.

20.00: Ruan Combrinck takes over the kicking duties while Jantjies gets some help from the medics. The Lions lead.

25.00: Penalty to the Lions. Jantjies takes the kick and nails it.

26.00: Ruan Combrinck makes a break down the wing, he offloads to Howard Mnisi who passes to Faf de Klerk and he dodges one player and scores under the posts. TRY!

30.00: Lionel Mapoe gets the ball into the corner but the referee thinks he was tackled early. The TMO is called in and the Lions get a penalty on the 5m line.

32.00: The Lions win the line out but the Cheetahs prevent them from gaining any momentum. The Cheetahs get a scrum.

34.00: Both teams enjoy some attack but the ball goes into touch.

37.00: The Lions enjoy some quick ball as Jantjies gets into space and throws an inside pass to Howard Mnisi and he races in to score. TRY!

38.00: Jantjies slots the conversion.

40.00: The siren sounds for half time. It is half time.

The Cheetahs kick off and the second half is underway.

42.00: The Lions win an early penalty. They take the line out and attack the Cheetahs tryline and Ruan Ackermann scores. TRY !

43.00: Jantjies add the conversion.

48.0: The Cheetahs hit back as Sergeal Petersen races for the line and reaches over to score. TRY !

49.00: Niel Marais misses the conversion.

53.00: The Cheetahs get the ball and drive over the line but they are held up. So close.

57.00: The Cheetahs press the Lions back into their half but the Lions then turn the ball over and kick for touch – and Jantjies finds it well into Cheetahs territory.

62.00: The Cheetahs drive the Lions back over their tryline. There are bodies everywhere but the ruling is that they were held up.

67.00: The Cheetahs finally get a break as Tian Meyer slices through the Lions defence and goes over to score. TRY!

68.00: Marais adds the conversion.

70.00: Penalty to the Lions. Jantjies takes the kick and nails it.

71.00: Rohan Janse van Rensburg tackles a Cheetahs player in the air contesting the ball and the referee does not like it. Rohan Janse van Rensburgis yellow carded and the Cheetahs kick for touch and the line out.

76.00: The Cheetahs win a penalty. The kick for touch and set up a 5m line out.They win the line out and drive over the line and Jacques du Toit scores. TRY!

79.00: Marais adds the conversion.

80.00: The siren sounds but the Lions have a penalty. They take a quick tap and Corné Fourie scores. TRY!
