Keith Lowen will finally make his debit for the Cheetahs this weekend and ironically it comes against his old team the Chiefs. He was originally discovered by the Blues back in 1999 but moved to the Chiefs where he has played most of his rugby.

Lowen is one of 5 changes to the Cheetahs side who got pumped 53-17 by the Crusaders last weekend. Giscard Pieters will start on the right wing in place of Eddie Fredericks.

The Cheetahs have moved the loosies around and put lock Barend Pieterse in at 7 in place of Ockie van Zyl. Corniel van Zyl comes in as lock.

Kabamba Floors comes in for Frans Viljoen and Captain Ryno van der Merwe moves toto No 8. Ollie le Roux will start ahead of Springbok Os du Randt who gets bench time.

The Chiefs are still in contention for the play offs and must beat the Cheetahs this weekend to keep in the hunt. The Cheetahs are now too far down to be considered.
