Wallabies flanker and captain David Pocock has signed a new contract with the Australian Rugby Union for another three years ensuring that he will be available for Australia in the 2015 Rugby World Cup.
The 24-year-old Pocock has played 45 tests for Australia since making his debut against New Zealand in 2008. He has twice been nominated as IRB international player of the year.
After being named to captain the Wallabies for the first time, Australia lost to Scotland.
He then led the Wallabies to a 3-0 home series win over Wales before injuring his knee against the All Blacks in August which required surgery.
