Former England World Cup winning back Mike Catt has accepted an offer to assist England head coach Stuart Lancaster on a two month contract for their tour of South Africa in June.
Port Elizabeth, South Africa born Catt is reported to have agreed terms to assist England in June as a stop-gap measure while England appoint a permanent assistant coach.
The favourite for the full time position is New Zealand coach Wayne Smith who would only be able to join in September.
