The Rebels and the Reds have never played each other so looking at past form between the teams is not possible but we may be able to get an idea of what lies ahead by looking at the Reds recent form at home.
We are waiting for the kick off.
The Rebels kick off and the match is underway.
.00: We start with some scrum resets after the Reds knocked on. The Reds win the scrum when it finally works and they run the ball into the Rebels half.
.00: Reds concede a penalty to the Rebels. They kick for touch and Cipriani gets the ball to just short of the Reds 25m line. Rebels win the line out and then as they get centrefield the Reds give away a penalty. Cipriani will kick for posts.
.00: Cipriani takes the kick and slots it. The Rebels lead.
.00: Digby Iaone shows his intent with a sniping run but we are called back for a penalty. Cipriani clears the ball.
.00: Wow, out of almost nothing Cooper sets up the Reds attack and Anthony Faingaa scores in the corner. The pass might have been a bit forward though. Lucky maybe.
.00: Quade Cooper takes the kick and hits the posts square and bounces out.
.00: The Reds are finding holes in the Rebels. They are up fast and putting the Rebels under pressure. Rod Davies chases a kick but the ball is knocked on at the tryline. The Reds then give away a penalty at the scrum and the Rebels clear.
.00: The Rebels give away a penalty so Quade Cooper takes the shot and slots it. Reds lead is growing.
.00: The Rebels get some continuity but the fourth phase pass is wild and the Reds whack the ball downfield. Rod Davies chases but as he gets to the ball he stumbles.
.00: Reds being allowed to throw the ball around and they are looking more like the Reds of 2010.
.00: The Reds work the ball up to the line and at the ruck Adam Wallace-Harrison reaches over and scores the second try. Replays are all good.
.00: Quade Cooper nails the conversion.
.00: Oh my goodness. Cipriani stars twice as the Rebels attack. On his second pass he throws a sweet ball to Greg Somerville who drops the ball as he goes over for the try. Biggest blunder yet this season.
.00: The Rebels set up 5m line out. Saffy wins the ball but the Reds turn it over and send it upfield. Davies chases again with Higginbotham who stumbles - the Rebels turn it over and attack but Ged Robinson gives away a penalty.
.00: Cooper will kick for posts. He nails it.
.00: The Reds backs open up the Rebels backline but get stopped. They recycle, Cooper thinks about the drop but runs it. They keep the ball alive through 7 phases but the Rebels concede a penalty.
.00: Reds effetively waste the penalty as they lose in the ball at the line out. The Rebels though kick to the Reds and Cooper sets up another line out. After the line out the Rebels knock on giving an attacking scrum to the Reds.
.00: The Reds fire off the back of the Rebels scrum and Beau Robinson snipes and then passes Higginbotham who scores!!
.00: Quade Cooper takes the conversion and nails it.
