The Waratahs will go into this match full of confidence even though they lost last weekend to the Highlanders as they have a good record against the Force.

Match detail

We are waiting for the kick off.

The match is underway. The Waratahs kick off (deep and chase) and almost score from the kick off but Dave Dennis' hands let him down.

.00: Penalty to the Waratahs so Halangahu kicks for the corner.

.00: The Waratahs win the line out and everyone piles into the maul. TRY! Adam Ashley-Cooper is the try scorer - his first for the Waratahs.

.00: Halangahu takes the conversion and nails it. We have learnt that Lopeti Timani is still stuck in New Zealand with a Visa issue so he has been replaced on the bench by Richard Stanford.

.00: The Western Force get some ball and after 4 phases they are called back for a Waratahs penalty.

.00: Penalty to the Force (Ben Robinson offside) but they get a warning for too much talking. David Pocock has a chat with his team.

.00: David Harvey takes the penalty kick nails his first attempt in Super Rugby.

.00: Wow, David Harvey gets the ball on the intercept but doesn't have the pace to make it from 50m out and is caught.

.00: The Force are trying to play the game but the Waratahs defence is holding. All the adventure is coming from the Force. 9 phases and then a penalty - Dean Mumm is also shown a yellow card.

.00: The Force kick for touch, win the line out and work the ball through the middle and Harvey scores on his debut. TRY!!

.00: Harvey bangs over the conversion and the Force lead. Thats the Force first try in two matches against the Waratahs.

.00: Penalty to the Waratahs. The Force's possession is at 70%. Halangahu takes the conversion and misses.

.00: Penalty to the Waratahs for a dangerous clean out. The Waratahs kick for touch. No cards this time.

.00: The Waratahs are working their way back into the game but the Force are up for this. The Force win a penalty on defence. They kick for touch.

.00: Dave Dennis looks to have been on the wrong side of a boot but its actually a head clash and is sent off the field covered in blood.

.00:  The Waratahs win a line out on the half way line. As they go forward the Force turn it over and kick deep. Waratahs aren't playing well.

.00:  The Force make a mistake and lose the ball midfield so the Waratahs kick and chase. Tom Kingston gatehrs the ball and races for the line and scores. TRY!

.00: Daniel Halangahu slots the conversion.

.00: The Force win a penalty after the siren so David Harvey gets another shot at the posts. He nails it.

The half time score was Waratahs 14 Force 13

The second half is underway.

.00: The Waratahs enjoy some early territory in the Force 25. They go through the phases and get to 5m out. Again and again they strike but the Force hold strong.

.00: The Waratahs keep banging away at the Force and Adam Ashley dives over to score but he is called back for obstruction. No try.

.00: Rory Sidey gets a warning for lifting in the tackle and the Waratahs have a penalty in front. Halangahu nails it and the Waratahs are back in front.

.00; Dave Dennis comes off again for blood. The referee is preventing the game from flowing. Very frustrating.

.00: Penalty to the Waratahs. Halangahu says he will kick for posts.

.00: He nails it. The Force need a try now.
