The last time the Rebels and the Force met each other in a Super Rugby match was last year in June and the Force won.

Match detail

We are waiting for the kick off.
Danny Cipriani kicks off and we are underway.
2.00: Penalty to the Force in their 25. They kick for touch and clear the ball away to safety.
5.00: The Force keep probing the Rebels with territorial kicks keeping the Rebels pinned back in their half - mostly their 25.
6.00: The Rebels win a line out and Jarrod Saffy breaks, he makes about 25metres and is caught. The Rebels recycle and move the ball wide but Vuna kicks the ball away as he runs down the wing.
7.00: The Rebels win a 5m scrum, Cipriani sends a sweet pass out to Lachlan Mitchell who jinks in and scores!! TRY.
8.00: Danny Cipriani slots the conversion.
12.00: The Rebels are controlling the ball well and making a number of breaks. The Force hang on. Cipriani kicks across field but Gerrard is not ready and the ball goes dead.
14.00: The Rebels are running riot. They strike again and again at the Force and then  Lloyd Johansson who came in for James O'Connor at the last minute breaks through and scores. TRY!!
15.00 Cipriani adds the conversion. This is the best start the Rebels have ever made.
18.00: Penalty to the Force. David Harvey takes the kick from in front but misses. It's just not happening for the Force.
22.00: The Rebels steal the ball inside their 25 as the Force are on attack, Mark Gerrard races away and passes to Danny Cipriani who races away and scores the third Rebels try.
23.00: Cipriani does a weird try celebration dance and then slots the conversion.  
24.00: Cipriani may have pulled his hamstring in that break. He is stretching his right leg as if he has pulled it. He stays on though.
26.00: Cipriani finally gives in and comes off for the Rebels.
26.00: The Rebels then make a mess of the line out and David Pocock pounces on the ball and scores. TRY!!
27.00: Harvey adds the conversion.
29.00: Penalty to the Rebels. Julian Huxley takes the kick and nails it.
32.00: The Force are coming back into this. They get some good quick attacking ball from 5m out and Winston Stanley dives over to score. TRY!! How the game has changed since Cipriani went off !
33.00: Harvey's conversion kick misses.
37.00: The Rebels win a penalty. The Force backchat the ref so he marches them back 10m which makes the penalty kickable. Huxley will take a shot.
38.00: Julian Huxley takes the penalty kick but he hits the post.
40.00: The siren sounds but we have time for a line out. The Rebels win the line out and attack. Penalty to the Force for holding on. They kick it out.

The half time score was Rebels 24 Force 12

The second half is underway.
41.00: The Force get the first penalty of the half but they kick for touch as it is well out from the posts.
44.00: The Force start well and are pushing the Rebels backwards. Harvey passes to Alfi Mafi who gets the ball at pace and snipes through the defence to score. TRY!!
45.00: Harvey adds the conversion.
49.00: Another penalty to the Force. Harvey takes the kick and nails it.
53.00: The Rebels are keeping the Force in their half. The Force are immense at the breakdown but they concede a penalty to the Force.
55.00: Huxley takes the penalty kick and nails it to edge the Rebels further ahead.
58.00: Another penalty to the Rebels. Huxley misses this one though.
64.00: The Force are picking away at the Rebels and then they clear the ball from the back of the scrum and Nick Cummins gets the ball and slices through the Rebels defence and scores. Bonus point TRY!!
64.00: Harvey adds the conversion and the Force lead for the first time. That is the Force's first bonus point try for scoring four tries since week 9 in 2010.
68.00: The Rebels just can't find a way through the Force's defence but things could change as it's starting to rain.
70.00: The ball pops out the back of a ruck and both teams pour in. Clearly they both want this.
71.00: Penalty to the Rebels. Mark Gerrard will kick for posts.
72.00; Gerrard nails it and the Rebels lead.
74.00: The Rebels have upped their intensity as they look to seal this match. They use a grubber to the corner but it goes into touch.
77.00: It's intense in Melbourne. The Rebels are on attack and the Force are hanging on.
78.00: Penalty to the Rebels as the Force got the ball into the Rebels half. The Rebels kick for touch. The Rebels however lose the line out.
80.00: The Siren sounds but the Force have the ball - they are keeping the ball alive. 11 phases. 12 phases.
82.00: After 17 phases the Rebels win a penalty. They kick the ball out and win.
