The Hurricanes have made three changes for the first of their two clashes against Super Rugby leaders the Chiefs this weekend in Hamilton.

Cory Jane and TJ Perenara have recovered from their ankle injuries and have been named in the starting line up.

The third change is Julian Savea being named back on the wing after a week out due to illness.

Reg Goodes could make his Hurricanes debut as he has been named in the number 17 jersey.

Goodes suffered a shoulder injury in the team's last pre-season match making him unavailable until now.

Also on the bench, Jack Lam will return after two weeks out because of a concussion in the game against the Sharks.

This will be the first time the two New Zealand sides have met in the regular season of the 2012 competition.

The two will play again in the last round of the competition in Wellington on Friday 13th July.
