Bulls prop Dean Greyling will miss the Bulls Super Rugby clash in Round 12 against the Waratahs after he returned to South Africa.

Greyling's wife is due to give birth to the couple's first child on Monday and the expectant father left Sydney on Saturday to be at her side.

The Bulls are also waiting for medical scans on Jacques Potgieter (knee), Wynand Olivier (ribs) and Frik Kirsten (hand) and a decision on their fitness will be made once the scans come back.

The Bulls will not replace Greyling on the tour as his replacement Dawie Steyn is already on tour with the squad.
