Kurtley Beale kicks off and we are underway.
1.00: Hurricanes looking to run the ball and Conrad Smith makes a break. There is no support and the Hurricanes knock on.
3.00: First scrum is a mess so we have a couple of resets. Eventually the Hurricanes get the ball out and run it.
4.00: Hurricanes on attack but they concede a penalty so Mark Gerrard kicks for touch.
6.00: Hurricanes looking more dominant but the Rebels are being persistant.
7.00: The Rebels win a line out, Cooper Vuna gets the ball and slices through, about five Hurricanes miss tackle him and he starts to drop to the ground but still gets to the line reaches and scores. TRY ! Outstanding individual effort.
9.00: Kurtley Beale adds the conversion.
10.00: Penalty to the Hurricanes. Beauden Barrett takes the kick and slots it. The Hurricanes are on the board.
14.00: Penalty to the Rebels. Kurtley Beale will take the kick from in front. He nails it.
15.00: The ball is loose and bounces towards the Rebels try line, Julian Savea and Kurtley Beale chase the ball but Beale JUST knocks it back. Close try.
16.00: TJ Perenara slips off the back of ruck and breaks free, he slips the ball behind him to Tim Bateman who passes to Andre Taylor who scores a brilliant TRY for handling skills.
18.00: Beauden Barrett adds the conversion and the scores are level.
22.00: The Hurricanes win a scrum and attack down the wing. They kick a grubber and manage to regather the ball and Alapati Leiua just manages to control the ball and scores. TRY!
24.00: Barrett adds the conversion.
25.00: The Hurricanes are looking to open up here, Eaton chips ahead and Leiua chases again but the touchline wins.
26.00: The Hurricanes are playing with power and pace. They clear the ball from a ruck and Barrett breaks he passes the ball and Julian Savea is there in support and scores. TRY.
30.00: Barrett adds the conversion. The tries are coming because the Hurricanes are passing with the knowledge that someone will be there.
30.00: After the restart the Hurricanes (Smith) kick ahead, Julian Savea chases, regathers and scores. TRY. Bonus point.
31.00: Barrett adds the conversion again.
32.00: The Rebels fight back and Cooper Vuna gets a second try from an intercept.
33.00: Kurtley Beale adds the conversion.
35.00: Gareth Delve tries to make a break but Jack Lam and Faifili Levave combine in a tackle and send him rocking backwards.
36.00: The Hurricanes are in again as Jack Lam goes over for the fifth try.
37.00: Barrett adds the conversion and the Hurricanes are running away with this. A point a minute.
40.00: The Siren goes for half time and it is half time.

40.01: Beauden Barrett kicks off for the second half.
41.00: Tim Bateman gets the ball to Victor Vito who breaks the line. He looks like he could go all the way but is cut down short. The Rebels get a penalty and clear.
43.00: The Hurricanes are in again as the Rebels slip off tackles and this is another for Alapati Leiua.
43.00: Barrett adds the conversion.
45.00: Injuries coming in now for the Rebels as Huxley and Beale come off. This could get ugly.
48.00: The Rebels have started holding on to the ball and kicking less now that Beale is off.
49.00: The Rebels hold on to the ball for four minutes and then they kick the ball downfield and it goes straight out. Costly error after they had started looking alright.
51.00: Hurricanes looking dangerous again but Barrett passes forward. It has started raining a little.
52.00: The Hurricanes spin the ball down the line, Andre Taylor passes to Julian Savea who goes over for his hat trick.
52.00: Barrett adds another conversion. Still a point a minute.
55.00: The Hurricanes are just finding holes everywhere. Andre Taylor changes angles on the Rebels back line and dives over to score.
57.00: Barrett adds the conversion.
60.00: Rebels have a 5m line out. They win the line out but as they recycle the Hurricanes turn the ball over and kick it away.
62.00: The Hurricanes are going to the bench now as it's highly unlikely they will lose this match.
64.00: Mark Gerrard tries to sell a dummy but Motu Matu’u flattens him. Properly flattens him. Eventually Gerrard gets up.
65.00: Wow, another smashing tackle by Motu Matu’u on Lachlan Mitchell. the beaty of this tackle is that he hits Mitchell and picks up the ball and carries on attacking. Gerrard wants to come off from the earlier tackle and Mitchell is being stretchered off.
66.00: The game finally resumes. The Hurricanes have a line out. They win the line out and attack.
68.00: The Hurricanes get a maul 5m out and Chris Eaton finds a gap and scores. TRY.
69.00:Barrett adds the conversion.
74.00: There is a break in play as some of the Rebels need medical attention.
76.00: The teams are just winding down the clock. Mark Gerrard is still in pain and still wants to come off but apparently there is no one on the bench to replace him. He is holding his ribs so may have some broken ribs.
77.00: Cooper Vuna chases the ball down the wing, he beats the Hurricanes defender Tusi Pisi and comes within an inch of dotting the ball down for a hat trick try. Bad luck.
79.00: The Rebels make a hash of an attacking scrum in the Canes 25 so the Canes get a free kick.
80.00: The siren goes for full time but we play on.
81.00: The Rebels have the ball and Adam Freier bashes over at short range and scores. TRY!
82.00: Richard Kingi adds the conversion. Thats it. Hurricanes win.
