All Blacks and Blues halfback Piri Weepu has revealed that he is keen to continue playing Super Rugby for the Blues in 2013.
Weepu joined the Blues for this season after his Hurricanes contract last season was not renewed.
The All Blacks half back has retained his place in the national team despite a difficult first season with the Blues.
There were reports earlier in the season that the Rugby World Cup winner wanted to return to Wellington and play for the Hurricanes next season.
However Weepu says that he is indebted to the Blues and has no plans to return to playing for the Hurricanes.
"It was basically, if the offer was offered, if there was something put on the table, it was something I would definitely consider," told told NewstalkZB.
"I am a Wellingtonian but the Blues have been good to me, they've put up with a lot of stuff with me this year and I guess I've got nowhere else to really go and I'd rather stay here."
Weepu says that he wants to stays with the Blue regardless of who the coach is in 2013.
