Super Rugby strugglers the Blues have suffered yet another blow with the news that an x-ray has confirmed that wing David Raikuna has a broken leg.
Raikuna will therefore miss the rest of the Super Rugby season as he has been ruled out for between six and eight weeks.
The Blues winger fractured the left mid fibula fracture in his left leg during the North v South match in Dunedin on June the 10th.
Raikuna's injury takes the Blues list to 10 players who have been ruled out for the for the rest of the season through injury,
The other injured players are Anthony Boric, Jerome Kaino, Isaia Toeava, Brad Mika, Benson Stanley, Gareth Anscombe, Ali Williams and wider training group members Sean Polwart, Dan Pryor, Wayne Ngaluafe.
The Blues are also currently without suspended lock Filo Paulo.
Coach Pat Lam is expected to play George Moala on the wing in Raikuna's place as he is close to recovering from a a cut hand.
