The Bulls have been playing the Cheetahs in Super Rugby since they joined the Super 14 in 2006 and since then they have yet to lose to the Cheetahs.

The Bulls have played the Cheetahs 8 times in Super Rugby and the closest the Cheetahs have come to beating the Bulls was in February 2011 when they lost 25-23 in Bloemfontein.

The average score when the Bulls play the Cheetahs is Bulls 38 Cheetahs 22. This weekend the Bulls play the Cheetahs in Pretoria at Loftus Versfeld where the average score is Bulls 28 Cheetahs 20.

The Bulls and Cheetahs have played each other 3 times at Loftus and the Cheetahs best result was back in 2007 when they lost 24-20.

Wynand Olivier will become the 15th South African player to reach 100 Super Rugby caps in this match.

Olivier will add his name to those of Bryan Habana, Morne Steyn and Jacques Botes, who have all reached a century of Super Rugby in 2012.

Furthermore Steyn, the top points' scorer in two of the last three seasons, can become the first player in 2012 to reach 200 competition points - he is currently on 193 points for the season and a converted try will push him past the double century (provided he scores and converts it himself).

And while Steyn and Olivier will provide the bulk of the experience for the home team, the visitors will travel to Pretoria with two debutants in their pack - prop Marcel van der Merwe and flank Lappies Labuschagne will both get their first taste of Super Rugby at Loftus.

Nine of the Bulls' players played in the recent series against England while four more were part of the squad but never got any game time.

The Bookies have given the Cheetahs a 13 point start for this match - with an offer of Bet 5 and Get 50 in Bets. The Bulls history against the Cheetahs and the experience they have over the Cheetahs is too hard to ignore. The Bulls should win this by 14.

This match will be shown on TV in NZ, Aus, SA and in the UK on Sky Sports 3/HD.
