Reds winger Digby Ioane has been ruled out of today's Round 16 Super Rugby clash against the Melbourne Rebels with a chest infection.
Ioane was isolated from the team on Thursday night with fever-like symptoms and was later diagnosed by medical staff with a chest infection today before a final decision was made on his availability just hours before kickoff.
The change will see talented 18-year-old flyer Chris F'Sautia earn his first Reds run-on appearance after being elevated from the bench onto the wing, while lock Blake Enever is in line to make his Queensland and Super Rugby debut after being added to the squad.
Enever, who recently graduated from the National Academy to the Reds squad as injury cover, initially travelled with the Reds to Melbourne as their 23rd man before his late promotion.
