The Force have suffered a blow ahead of their Super Rugby clash against the Brumbies as tighthead prop Salesi Ma'afu has been ruled out for the season due to a broken arm.
Ma'afu had been named in the team to face the Brumbies on Saturday but fractured his left arm at training yesterday and is expected to miss the last three games.
The Force only have three games left this season as they are already out of the running for the play offs so Ma'afu's season is effectively over.
Ma'afu injury means that twenty-one-year-old prop Salesi Manu will be promoted from the bench to the starting line up.
Manu has already made five appearances off the bench so he has some recent Super Rugby experience.
A decision on who takes Manu's place on the bench will be made in the next 24 hours.
