Wallabies and Rebels fullback Kurtley Beale will miss his team's last two Super Rugby matches in South Africa because of an injury initially sustained playing for the Wallabies.
As the Rebels are already out of the running for the Super Rugby play offs he has effetively been ruled out of Super Rugby this year.
Rebels medical staff have announced that Beale will not join up with his team mates in South Africa because of "soreness."
Beale started in last weekend's Rebels vs Reds match with bruised ribs after playing for the Wallabies against Wales.
The fullback missed the Wallabies first two Test matches due to a shoulder injury he suffered playing for the Rebels.
The Rebels had already lost Wallabies flyhalf James O'Connor for their trip to South Africa.
