SANZAR have announced a number of amendments to the referee appointments for 2012 Super Rugby, Round 17 this weekend.

The Lions versus Rebels match now has Jaco Peyper confirmed as the assistant referee to be part of the team of officials for that Saturday match.

Further changes have been made with Mike Fraser being unavailable due to his wife expecting their baby, while Angus Gardner has an injury which has ruled him out.

Ian Smith will now be an assistant referee for the Reds v Highlanders match on Friday, as well as the Waratahs v Brumbies match the following evening.

Andrew Lees replaces Mike Fraser as referee for the Blues v Force match on Saturday, with Glen Jackson and Sheldon Eden-Whaitiri joining him as the assistant referees.

For the Cheetahs v Stormers match the assistant referees are now Sindile Mayende and Reuben Rossouw.
