The Highlanders have announced their side to take on the Reds in Brisbane on Friday night, with coach Jamie Joseph making six changes to his starting team that went down 21-27 to the Chiefs last weekend.
Veteran hooker Andrew Hore returns to the run-on side in place of Jason Rutledge, while James Haskell will start at openside flank ahead of Tim Boyes, who shuffles to the bench. Josh Bekhuis will don the number four jersey ahead of Jarrad Hoeata.
In the backs, Jimmy Cowan replaces Aaron Smith at scrumhalf. Tamati Ellison has been ruled out after suffering a hamstring injury against the Chiefs and he is replaced at centre by Siali Piutau. Mike Delany also comes in at flyhalf, ahead of Chris Noakes.
