The Cheetahs and Stormers have already played each other once this season and the Cheetahs surprised the Stormers by making them work for a 16-14 victory at Newlands.

We are waiting for the kick off .
The Cheetahs kick off and we are underway.
2.00: Cheetahs start well putting the Stormers under pressure and also win  their first line out.
3.00: Cheetahs using the high ball frequently to test Joe Pietersen.
6.00: The Stormers are winning the teritory battle and managing to play the game in the Cheetahs half. The Cheetahs are edging the possession.
7.00: Cheetahs try for a drop goal but its way off. We go back for the 25m drop out.
9.00: The Cheetahs look to move the ball and Bryan Habana gets his fingers to the ball for an intercept but he loses control and knocks on. The Stormers could top the table with a bonus point victory.
12.00: There is plenty of kicking going on. The crowd is starting to boo as they are tiring of the kicking back and forth.
15.00: The Stormers up the pesure and work the ball into the Cheetahs 25. Peter Grant has a go for the line but is stopped. The Stormers flirt with the Cheetahs try line and then the Cheetahs concede a penalty. Grant will kick for posts.
16.00: Grant takes the kick and nails it to put the Stormers into the lead.
20.00: Cheetahs fullback Willie le Roux tries the up and under and breaks through the Stormers defence. The Stormers are caught out but somehow they just manage to push the Cheetahs out into touch. Small scare for the Stormers there.
23.00: The Stormers gaining some momentum and going through the phases. Eventually though they go in through the side and a penalty is awarded. The Cheetahs kick for touch. Conditions are not good in Bloemfontein and appear to be getting worse.
25.00: The Cheetahs showing their defence has improved from last season as they defend through five phases of Stormers attack. It ends with the Stormers in touch.
29.00: The scrums are starting to struggle as the players lose their footing as the field deteriorates in the rain.  Pietersen kicks for teritory but the ball goes beyond the dead ball line.
33.00: The Stormers fail to bind correctly in the scrum so the Cheetahs have a penalty. Riaan Smit takes the shot but misses.
35.00: Cheetahs enjoying a strong spell in the match as they work the ball into the Stormers 25.
36.00: Cheetahs win a penalty so Smit will have another shot at the posts.
37.00: Smit takes the shot and nails this one. The Scores are level.
40.00: The siren goes for half time. It is half time.

The second half is underway.
42.00: Bryan Habana is lifted in a tackle and the assistant ref stops the game for a penalty to the Stormers. They kick for touch.
43.00: Stormers showing much more eagerness this half already as they put the Cheetahs under pressure in the their 25. The Cheetahs get a team warning for infringements.
44.00: Willie le Roux is shown a yellow card for deliberate offside. The Stormers have a penalty on the Cheetahs 5m line.
45.00: The Stormers choose the scrum and after some scrappy play they win another penalty. The Stormers wanted tries earlier as they had an extra man (still do) but this time they go for posts.
46.00: Grant takes the shot and nails it. Stormers lead.
50.00: The Stormers stats for territory is at 88% for the second half They appear to be happy to play the ball at close range as the match is an armwrestle.
52.00: The Cheetahs jhave a penalty so Riaan Smit takes the shot and levels the scores.
53.00: The Stormers kick ahead and Gio Aplon is wide open, gathers the ball and scores the first try of the match.
54.00: Grant takes the conversion kick and nails it.
57.00: Cheetahs fighting back in the match. They get the ball into the Stormers 25 but then the Stormers win a penalty. Both coaches look very frustrated. Stormers kick for touch.
62.00: The Cheetahs get a driving maul going and they get to 1m out but they knock on.
65.00: The Stormers have a 5m scrum for the knock on but the scrum keeps collapsing so they move the scrum and the Cheetahs change their props. Eventually the Stormers complete the scrum and kick the ball out.
67.00: Sias Eberhsohn chip kicks to the corner and the Cheetahs chase but the line wins.
71.00: The Cheetahs are camped just outside the Stormers 25. They are frequently using the up and under but the Stormers are prepared for it.
72.00: Cheetahs win a penalty so Riaan Smit will kick for posts.
73.00: Smit takes the shot but misses.
76.00: The Stormers appear happy to grind this match out.
78.00: The Cheetahs are happy to play this match with width while the Stormers insist on kicking the ball away.
79.00: Cheetahs win a penalty. They kick for touch.
80.00: The Stormers get the ball and kick it out and win the match. That's it.
