The Bulls have signed Lions teenage lock Paul Willemse ahead of the 2013 Super Rugby season as he will join the Bulls in November.

Bulls coach Frans Ludeke said he had been impressed with 19-year-old Willemse, who was one of the key performers for the SA Under-20 side that secured victory at this year's IRB Junior World Championship.

"He is clearly enjoying his rugby at the moment and one can see that in his efforts on the field," Ludeke said.

"He is a big, strong man and loves the physical aspects of being a lock, something that should fit in perfectly at the Bulls.

"We are delighted to get him on board and I believe he will do very well with us."
