New Waratahs head coach Michael Cheika has made a change to his assistants and confirmed that Greg Mumm will not be part of his Super Rugby coaching team.
Mumm, 32, joined the Waratahs as coaching co-ordinator at the start of the 2012 season, having previously worked with Sydney University and the Fijian national team.
"Taking us forward will require changes," said Cheika. "Many of the team have had to deal with a level of uncertainty already and I don't want to prolong this."
On behalf of the team, the Waratahs' new head coach also thanked Greg for his hard work over the past year, adding "Personally, I would also like to thank Greg for his input, his time and his honesty last week and wish him all the best."
Michael Cheika is currently back in France with his family. He will return to Sydney early next month.
