Eight Brumbies players have been pulled out of Super Rugby training and called up for a pre-season Wallabies camp in Sydney as preparation for the British and Irish Lions tour.
Ben Alexander, David Pocock, Stephen Moore, Pat McCabe, Joe Tomane, Dan Palmer, Christian Lealiifano and Nic White will spend the next two days in the national camp.
A total of 49 players have been called up from all squads for the national training camp.
With the incoming British & Irish Lions Tour arriving on Australian shores in June, Wallabies coaches are busy putting tactics into place to come away from the series with a win.
While regular starters Alexander, Moore, Pocock and McCabe have slotted straight back into where things left off at the conclusion of the spring tour, the remaining four players have battled injury to be fit for the camp, with Tomane 's last 80 minute appearance coming in a Wallabies jersey.
For Lealiifano, the camp is a result of nine months worth of rehabilitation after his 2012 season was cruelly cut short thanks to a broken ankle.
All eight players will return to their Brumbies duties mid-week, with the ACT based side now preparing for its first trial match against the Force in Darwin on 8 February.
