The Sharks have named their team to play their final Super Rugby warm up match against the Pumas at KaNyamazane Stadium in Nelspruit on Friday.

The Sharks start their Super Rugby campaign against the Cheetahs in Bloemfontein next weekend and will be captained by Francois Steyn after Keegan Daniel injured his knee playing a warm up match last week.

For this week's Super Rugby trial match coach John Plumtree has named a strong line up which features their first-choice front row of Tendai Mtawarira, Craig Burden and Jannie du Plessis.

Anton Bresler gets a start in the second row with the loose-forward trio remaining unchanged. Cobus Reinach will partner Pat Lambie and Paul Jordaan will combine with captain Francois Steyn in the midfield.

JP Pietersen for Odwa Ndungane and Louis Ludik for Riaan Viljoen are the final two changes to the team that beat the Leopards last week.
