Out of the last five matches between the Bulls and the Force the Bulls have won two and the Force three.

The Bulls and the Force have played each other six times and surprisingly they are level on three matches each.

It should be noted though that four of the matches have been played in Perth so the Force have enjoyed more home advantage.

While both teams have a 50% win/loss record against each other the Bulls have a slightly better record on points scored as the average score when the teams meet is Bulls 25 Western Force 23.

Another surprising statistic in the history between the Bulls and the Force is that the Bulls have played the Force in Pretoria twice but only won once. The Bulls won their first Super Rugby title in 2007 but that year they lost at home to the Force.

The Bulls have not hosted the Force in Pretoria since 2009 and that last match was edged by the Bulls 32-29. As the Bulls have won one and lost one the average score when the teams meet in Pretoria is a surprising Bulls 30 Western Force 30.

The history between the two teams suggests that this weekend's match at Loftus will be a close affair. However the Force lost to Super Rugby's newcomers the Southern Kings last week.

The Bulls on the other hand made something of a statement by beating 2011 and 2012 South African conference winners the Stormers. Morne Steyn was in fine form and controlled the game throughout.

It's unlikely that the Force will be able to turn things around in a week which makes the Bulls strong favourites.

The Bookies have given the Force a 17 point start for this Match - with an offer of a FREE £50 BET. The Bulls should win this comfortably and the Force will have to be on full alert otherwise it could be a hammering. The Bulls should win by 14+.

This Match will be shown on TV in NZ, Aus, SA and in the UK on the Sky Sports website and on SS4 on the Red Button.

Average score: Bulls 25 Western Force 23
